Greetings from the Youth of the Church

Greetings! We'd love to have you come join us for Youth Group! On Sundays in September, we will meet at 6:00pm in the little blue house at 816 Harrison Avenue! We are small, but very close.

Inter-Church Youth Group

Beginning Sunday, October 4 Christ Church Youth Group will be meeting with the youth groups of United Presbyterian Church, Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, and First Baptist Church (ABC). We will take turns, by month, meeting at the different church buildings. In October, we will meet at Christ Church. Meetings will be held from 5:00pm-7:00pm. Tell your friends who are members of other churches--or who are not members of any church! Be there!


Upcoming Events

Mark your calendar for Sunday, October 25! On that day, Dr. Ray Short will be giving two talks at Christ Church. From 4:00pm to 6:00pm, he will give a talk to parents on "Talking to Your Teens about Sex, Love, and Responsibility". From 7:00pm to 9:30pm, he will talk to YOU (your parents are invited if you want them to come) about "Sex, Love, or Romance: How Do I Know?" Dr. Short is a Methodist minister and Sociology Professor who has two best-selling books on the topic of teenage sexuality. I have heard him speak, and he is excellent! Watch here for more details!
